Какие данные использует приложение
При автоматическом выборе города приложение запрашивает разрешение Android на геолокацию. В зависимости от выданного разрешения используются приблизительные или точные координаты устройства.
Координаты передаются серверу WeaTime для определения ближайшего города и получения прогноза погоды. При ручном выборе города доступ к геолокации не требуется. Геолокация не используется для рекламы или профилирования пользователей.
При отдельно выданном разрешении Android на фоновую геолокацию автоматические обновления погоды могут использовать местоположение, когда приложение закрыто, в том числе для виджетов и уведомлений. Последние автоматически полученные координаты и время их получения сохраняются локально для последующих обновлений. Разрешения можно отозвать в настройках Android или перейти к ручному выбору города.
Для определения местоположения используются службы Android и, при наличии, Google Play services. Для определения названия города по координатам также может использоваться служба геокодирования устройства.
Выбранный город, связанные с ним координаты, язык, единицы измерения, интервал обновления и другие настройки хранятся локально на устройстве. Для отображения последнего доступного прогноза может использоваться локальный кэш.
Для запроса прогноза приложение передаёт серверу WeaTime необходимые данные: координаты, выбранный город, язык и часовой пояс. Сервер при необходимости обращается к выбранному поставщику погодных данных.
Если пользователь включил их, виджеты и уведомления Android отображают город и сведения о погоде. Для этого используются описанные выше погодные данные и геолокация. При настройке действия по нажатию на виджет приложение читает список доступных для запуска приложений на устройстве и локально сохраняет выбранное приложение. Этот список не передаётся серверу WeaTime.
Карта и внешние сервисы
Экран выбора города и погодные карты используют Google Maps SDK для Android. Картографические запросы обрабатывает Google; SDK может собирать технические данные, включая IP-адрес, сведения об устройстве и приложении, диагностические данные и специальный идентификатор SDK. На эти сервисы распространяются политика конфиденциальности Google и условия Google Maps.
Запросы прогноза обрабатывает выбранный поставщик через сервер WeaTime. Доступные источники: Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap, Яндекс Погода, Google Weather, WeatherAPI, Weatherbit, Foreca, AccuWeather, Xiaomi, Apple Weather, OPPO, Samsung и Meteoinfo. Слои погодных карт загружаются через сервер из The Weather Company, Today Weather или Яндекса в зависимости от выбранного слоя. Запросы могут содержать координаты или область карты, необходимые для получения запрошенных погодных данных.
Экран поддержки разработчика открывает страницы YooMoney и Boosty во внешнем браузере. WeaTime не обрабатывает и не хранит платёжные данные. Криптовалютные адреса являются публичными адресами; приложение только позволяет скопировать их в буфер обмена.
Что приложение не собирает
WeaTime не создаёт пользовательские аккаунты и не запрашивает доступ к контактам, фотографиям, файлам, микрофону или камере. WeaTime не включает рекламные SDK и собственное аналитическое отслеживание. Обработка технических данных SDK Google Maps описана выше.
Персональные данные не продаются.
Технические данные и безопасность
Сервер WeaTime и его инфраструктура могут обрабатывать технические данные соединения, например IP-адрес, время запроса и сведения об ошибках, когда это необходимо для работы сервиса, защиты от злоупотреблений и обеспечения безопасности. Эти данные не используются для создания профиля пользователя.
Связь с сервером WeaTime выполняется по HTTPS. Локальные данные можно удалить очисткой хранилища приложения или удалением приложения. Серверные данные запросов хранятся только столько, сколько разумно необходимо для работы, защиты и диагностики сервиса, в соответствии с текущими настройками эксплуатации и безопасности сервера.
Дети
WeaTime является погодным приложением общего назначения и не предназначен специально для детей. Приложение не создаёт аккаунты и не запрашивает возраст. Описанная в этой политике обработка данных относится ко всем пользователям.
Обращения в поддержку
Если вы пишете на support@weatime.com, мы обрабатываем ваш адрес электронной почты, текст письма и добровольно приложенные файлы для ответа на обращение. Входящая почта пересылается через Cloudflare Email Routing в Gmail; ответы могут отправляться с Gmail-адреса разработчика. Эти почтовые сервисы обрабатывают письма по своим политикам конфиденциальности. Для запроса удаления переписки с поддержкой свяжитесь с нами.
Изменения политики
Политика может обновляться при изменении приложения или способов обработки данных. Актуальная версия публикуется на этой странице с новой датой вступления в силу.

This Privacy Policy explains how the WeaTime weather application handles information when you use the application.

Information the app uses
Location
If you enable automatic city selection, WeaTime requests the location permission selected by you in Android. Depending on the permission granted, the app may receive approximate or precise device coordinates.
The coordinates are sent to the WeaTime weather service to determine the nearest city and request a weather forecast. Location access is not required when you select a city manually. WeaTime does not use location data for advertising or user profiling.
With your separate Android background-location permission, automatic weather updates can use location while the app is closed, including updates for widgets and notifications. The last automatically obtained coordinates and their timestamp are stored locally for subsequent updates. You can revoke location permissions in Android settings or select a city manually.
Location is obtained using Android location services and, where available, Google Play services. Resolving coordinates to a city name may also use the device's geocoding service.
City, language and weather settings
The manually selected city, coordinates associated with that selection, language, units, update interval and other app settings are stored locally on your device. A local weather cache may be stored to show the latest available forecast.
The app sends the information needed to request a forecast, such as coordinates, selected city, language and time zone, to the WeaTime weather service. The service forwards weather requests to the selected weather-data provider when necessary to obtain the forecast.
Widgets and notifications
If you enable them, Android widgets and notifications display the city and weather information selected in the app. They use the same weather and location data described above. To configure a widget tap action, the app reads the list of launchable apps on your device and stores the selected app locally. This list is not sent to the WeaTime weather service.
Maps and external services
The city picker and weather maps use Google Maps SDK for Android. Map requests are processed by Google; its SDK may collect technical data, including IP addresses, device and app information, diagnostic data and an SDK-specific identifier. These services are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Maps terms.
Forecast requests are processed by the selected provider through the WeaTime backend. Available sources include Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap, Yandex Weather, Google Weather, WeatherAPI, Weatherbit, Foreca, AccuWeather, Xiaomi, Apple Weather, OPPO, Samsung and Meteoinfo. Weather-map layers are retrieved through the backend from The Weather Company, Today Weather or Yandex, depending on the selected layer. Requests can include coordinates or the map area needed to provide the requested weather data.
The donation screen opens external pages such as YooMoney and Boosty in the browser. WeaTime does not process or store payment details. Cryptocurrency addresses displayed by the app are public addresses; the app only allows them to be copied to the clipboard.
Information we do not collect
WeaTime does not create user accounts and does not request contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera access. WeaTime does not include advertising SDKs or its own analytics tracking. The technical data processed by Google Maps SDK is described above.
WeaTime does not sell personal information.
Technical information and security
The WeaTime weather service and its hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data, such as an IP address, request time and error information, when needed to deliver the service, prevent abuse and maintain security. WeaTime does not use this information to create user profiles.
We use HTTPS for communication with the WeaTime weather service. Local app data can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Server-side request data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, subject to the server's operational and security configuration.
Children
WeaTime is a general-purpose weather application and is not directed specifically at children. The app does not create accounts or ask for age information. The data processing described in this policy applies to all users.
Support requests
If you email support@weatime.com, we process your email address, message and any attachments you voluntarily provide to respond to your request. Incoming mail is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to Gmail; replies may be sent from the developer’s Gmail address. These mail services process messages under their own privacy policies. You may request deletion of your support correspondence by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
